Selma gained her undergraduate degree in Accounting and her MBA in Finance. She is currently studying for her PhD in Public Administration. Selma is a lifelong learner who wishes to create an environment that assists the youth and families she serves. Selma’s ultimate goal is to create a platform for women, particularly women of color, to experience personal and professional success. Selma has a firm belief that knowledge should be shared, tools and resources should be made available to all who seek them, and most importantly that it is important to give back.

For close to 20 years, Selma has focused her career on the betterment of each organization where she has been employed. The goals have been to assist an organization in their development, growth, profitability, reduce turnover and streamline processes. Selma has initiated and conceptualized new ideas to reinforce essential services to clients, project-managed new organization initiatives, and maintained the morale of employees in the face of periods of instability and change.

In the realm of finance and operations, Selma is a senior executive with a combination of vision and corporate realism. Selma has been acknowledged for her capacity to harness the enthusiasm and talents of others, identify core issues, and exploit the necessary resources available to stretch funds and achieve management objectives.
